Inaugurated in July 2016 for the African Union Summit, the Kigali Convention Complex (KCC) establishes Rwanda as East Africa’s premier service hub. The campus integrates three core functions, a 5-star hotel, a convention center, and a planned IT-Office Park within a lush parkland setting.
Its centerpiece is an iconic spiral dome inspired by traditional Rwandan architecture, which has become a visual landmark for the entire country. The buildings are connected by an elevated podium that serves as a vibrant public gathering space. Designed as a benchmark for sustainability, the complex sets a new standard for eco-friendly construction in tropical regions.
