Addressing the demand for secure and private living environments in Africa, this project reimagines the concept of a protected quarter. The master plan draws inspiration from the traditional circular settlement structures of Rwandan villages, creating a layout where public parks function as seamless extensions of private gardens.
While the individual residential units are compact, the design maximizes the perception of space through openness and connection to the outdoors. A dedicated community center is positioned at the heart of the site to host events and strengthen the neighborhood’s social identity.
